The rooms are all junior suites or larger. The Jr. Suite is 40 square metres with a balcony or terrace, the Grande Jr. Suite and the Large Jr. Suite with ocean view reach 50, and the Jr. Suite with sea view adds a bathtub and shower. Elite Club rooms, which are adults only, are a step further: the Jr. Suite ocean front is 40 square metres, the Jr. Suite Swim Up has a private pool, and the Suite ocean front view is 73 square metres.
Six restaurants take care of dinner. Spaces is the main buffet for all three meals, with live cooking and three themed nights a week. Japan serves Japanese-inspired a la carte, Roma is Italian with pizza, meats and pasta, Krystal is the gourmet fusion room, and Zarape does tacos, fajitas and guacamole. Tastes is a buffet at lunch and a steakhouse-style menu for dinner. Six bars cover the rest.
Five swimming pools include one with a swim-up bar, and a sun deck. Children have the RIU Land kids' club, with activity leaders organising games and dancing through the day. The Renova Spa has a wide range of treatments, sports facilities and guided activities are included, and an entertainment programme runs for all ages. RIU Party events are a short transfer away.
It suits families who want Palace-level rooms and a water park nearby, and couples who book into the adults-only Elite Club.
