Beloved Playa Mujeres is a boutique, couples-only hotel for guests over 18, on a white-sand beach just north of downtown Cancún and 40 minutes from the airport. Each night brings folkloric dancing in the courtyard, mariachi groups, guitar soloists and silent dance parties on the beach.

There are 110 suites, from 960 square feet up to 4,478. The Beachfront Casita Suite comes with a private pool, while the Ocean View Terrace Suite, the Penthouse Suite and the two-story casitas have plunge pools. Swim-Up Suites open to the water, and the Honeymoon Suites have pool views. L'Occitane toiletries, a pillow menu, 24-hour room service and maid service twice a day are standard.
Four a la carte restaurants and a sushi bar anchor the dinners, with a buffet and a la carte restaurant and an a la carte poolside spot for breakfast. Six bars and lounges serve unlimited international premium drinks, and smoothies and fresh coffee are on offer all day.
Three pools include one on the beach, with four outdoor jacuzzis. The Beloved Spa is a 35,000-square-foot wellness center with the Agua Viva hydrotherapy circuit and 13 treatment rooms, and one Agua Viva treatment per person is included. Kayaking, sailing and snorkeling are part of the plan, and golf at Playa Mujeres Golf Club is extra.
