Tesoro Ixtapa faces El Palmar, the wide golden beach in the heart of the bay at Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. The rooms look out over the Pacific, and a pool terrace sits between the building and the sand.

Rooms are oceanfront with private balconies. Partial sea view and garden view rooms are the entry level, with Junior Suites and a Master Suite above them, and Family Villas for groups who want more space. The Master Suite sleeps four adults.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner run as buffets, and La Mar turns its buffet into a different theme every day. El Mesón serves international dishes, Snack Bar Pelicanos covers the hours between meals, and a Lobby Bar and a Pool Bar keep the drinks coming. An Italian restaurant takes reservations for a sit-down dinner, and a shrimp, lobster and fine cuts menu is available at extra charge.

Days are pool and beach, with recreational activities during the day and a different show each night. Corsario's Kids Club looks after children.
