Four pools include one with a swim-up bar and a children's pool, and the RIU Land program keeps younger guests busy. Adults have a daytime entertainment program, free access to a fully equipped gym, RIU Fit classes and the Renova Spa, which offers beauty and wellness treatments. Nightly shows finish the day, and RIU Party guests have exclusive access to the themed parties at the Hotel Riu Caribe.
The rooms are junior suites and above. The Jr. Suite is 40 square metres with a balcony or terrace, and sea-view, superior sea-view and garden-view versions are on offer, with connecting suites for families. Elite Club rooms are adults only: a Jr. Suite ocean view at 40 square metres, a Suite at 60, a Suite ocean view at 70 with a hydromassage bathtub, and a Jr. Suite Swim Up with its own private pool.
Nine restaurants cover the range. Malecon is the main buffet with live cooking and themed nights three times a week. Krystal serves fusion cuisine a la carte, Sakura is Asian, Duomo is an Italian buffet, Agave is Mexican, and the steakhouse serves meat and fish at dinner. The Elite Club Restaurant is for Elite Club guests. Pepe's Food is the pool grill, and Tiki Taco serves tacos and antojitos. Seven bars cover the rest.
It suits families and groups who want a hotel-zone address with a children's program, and couples who book the Elite Club.
